How to Export Your 3D Model

Revit Files

  1. Upload the native *.RVT.
  2. Typical Upload Settings
    • AXIS = XZ
    • Units = Meters

Revit with external textures (3D Scans / Photorealistic Images)

  1. Export your Revit file as a FBX.
  2. Zip the *.FBX and the image files together.
  3. Upload file.
  4. Typical Upload Settings
    • AXIS = XZ
    • Units = Match units from export options

SketchUp Files

  1. Save as a SketchUp file.
  2. Upload the *.SKP file.
  3. Typical Upload Settings
    • AXIS = XZ
    • Units = Meters

 

LiveHome3D Files

  1. Export your LH3D file as a DAE.
  2. Zip the *.DAE and the texture files together.
  3. Upload file.
  4. Typical Upload Settings
    • AXIS = XZ
    • Units = Centimeters

 

Rhino Files

  1. Export your file from Rhino to *.FBX, note the units selected in options.
  2. Zip together the *.FBX file and the Materials folder. One FBX file per zip.
  3. Upload file.
  4. Typical Upload Settings
    • AXIS = XY
    • Units = Match units from export options

Tiltbrush Files

  1. In Tiltbrush, export the .TILT as a *.FBX
  2. Upload file the exported FBX.
  3. Typical Upload Settings
    • Check “Tilt Brush”
    • AXIS = XY
    • Units = Meters

Matterport – OBJ

  1. Zip together the *.OBJ, *.MTL, and Image files. One OBJ and MTL file per zip
  2. Upload file
  3. Typical Upload Settings
    • AXIS = XZ
    • Units = Match units from export options

2020 Fusion – OBJ

  1. Export your file from the Application, note the units selected in options.
  2. Zip together the *.OBJ, *.MTL, and Image files. One OBJ and MTL file per zip.
  3. Upload file
  4. Typical Upload Settings
    • AXIS = XZ
    • Units = Match units from export options

2020 Fusion – SketchUp

  1. Save as a SketchUp file.
